We are asking participating churches to adhere to the 4 "P's" of participation
Pray - Pray for lost people. Pray for planning. Pray for unity of Christ's people. Pray for good weather. Pray for financial provision. Pray for protection from the Enemy. Pray for effective publicity.
Promote - Promote the efforts from the pulpit. Promote through Church social media and websites. Promote preparation events. Appoint a church coordinator to help keep your church informed and up to date.
Participate - Challenge the congregants to participate in all aspects of preparation. Encourage laymen and laywomen to serve on the crusade working teams. Incorperate your Sunday and Wednesday night meetings as a part of the Crusade event during that week.
Pledge - Invest in the crusadebudget. The amount that your church will pledge is between the church, her leaders, her pastor and the Lord. Opportunitites to invest are a Kick-off Banquet, through missions budgets, or a free-will-offering on a Church Challenge Sunday.
We believe that any church that participates in these efforts will be blessed. By engaging in participation, members of your church will renew a focus for reaching the lost, and engage in the exercise of honing important skills that will be an asset to your church's ongoing ministries. The simple skills encouraged in Go Tell Ministries preparation practices are applicable to many different ministry efforts.
These skills can be seen in the various service teams e.g. Prayer team, Outreach Team, Prayer Partner Team, Follow-up Team, Hospitality Team
"But I won't be able to be present." For whatever reason, if you are not able to physically be present, but you will be able to pray fervently during the lead up time and during the event hours for God to save souls, then you will have a hand in the results. (James 5:16)
